摘要
随着东亚货币一体化逐步深入,东亚货币区内亦需要一种主导货币。这里最具竞争力的是日元和人民币。它们都有显著的优势。但亦有暂时不可扭转的劣势,因此都不可能单独成为主导货币,日元和人民币加强合作才是出路。在当前,我国要积极、开放、务实地做好金融工作,进一步提升人民币的竞争实力,最终实现人民币区域化、国际化。
According to ＂Optimum Monetary District Theory＂, one currency is needed to occupy the leading position in an area where monetary integration is emerging. With the ongoing process of monetary integration in East Asia, this area needs a currency that will take the leading position. In this area, Chinese RMB and Japanese Yen are most competitive. Both have their competitive edges and weaknesses, thus neither can become the dominating currency in this area. The only way out is to strengthen cooperation between the two. At present, China must take a proactive, practical attitude towards its financial issues in order to lift up the competitiveness of RMB to be regionalized and internalized.
