摘要
电影作品片名是了解一部电影内容的关键所在,而外国电影作品的片名只有翻译过来才能让大多数观众了解。因此,翻译过来的片名就具有了航标灯的作用。目前在中国,英文电影作品的片名翻译主要存在三种状态:大陆译名、香港译名和台湾译名,有些混乱。在英文电影的片名翻译方面,要通过加强交流、疏通信息交换渠道、取长补短等方式,打破这种三足鼎立的局面。
Film title plays a very important role in understanding the content of a film, and only by translating can the title of a foreign film be understood by most audience in China. So, the translated title serves as a beacon. At present, there are three disordered situations in China＇s English film title translation： mainland translation, Hong Kong translation and Taiwan translation. It is urgent to correct this disordered situations in China by making more communications, broadening the ways to exchange information and learning from each other, among the mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
