摘要
文章以中国电影观众的审美期待和文化心理为出发点,通过丰富的译例探讨了电影片名英译汉的翻译策略———归化和异化,以及翻译方法———直译、意译、音译、补译和创译(后两者均属于变译)。
This paper, based on the Chinese audience's aesthetic anticipation and cultural psychology, discusses the translation of film names from English to Chinese. With assimilation and alienation as strategic theory, the five main translation methods-literal translation, liberal translation, transliteration, complementary translation and creative interpretation are introduced in detail with sufficient examples.
