摘要
建筑是由空间、形体、材质3大要素构成的。而三者之间,形体是营造空间的客观条件,材质则是建构形体的物质手段。本文将通过盖里和迈耶作品的比较研究,特别是探讨两位建筑师对形体与材质划分的方法,以寻找材质划分、材料使用与建筑形体的相互关系。
Architecture is composed of space, form and material, among which form is the objective condition to create space and material is the physical means to construct form. This paper is intended to search the correlations among material partition, material use and architectural form, by comparing Gehry＇s works to Meier＇ s, especially discussing the different ways of form and material partition between two architects.
