摘要
新编《固体物理教程》的第一个特色是只论述基础理论，不包括专业内容．除了教材体系作了改革外，对教学内容作了革新是本书的第二大特点．
The first distinctive feature of the newly written book 《Solid State Physics》 is that it includes only the basic theory and excludes the speciality contents of the solid state physics. In addition to reforming the framework of the textbook for solid state physics, the innovation in many subjects of the basic theory is the second characteristic of this book. Furthemore, the improvement in the explanation method or the physical model for many problems in basic theory is another characteristic of this new book.
