摘要
在界定创新型城市概念、内涵及特征的基础上，从创新主体的角度，将创新型城市的模式划分为政府主导型、企业主导型和高校一科研机构主导型；从创新要素的角度，将创新型城市的模式划分为知识创新型、技术创新型、产业创新型和制度创新型。在创新型城市和城市创新的关系问题上，创新型城市强调城市创新系统的完备性和运行的有效性，而城市创新强调区域层面的创新活动或过程。
On the bases of definiting the meaning and character of innovational city, according to the criteria of innovator, it classifies innovational mode as state dominant mode, firm dominant mode and university-R＆D institution mode; According to the criteria of innovative factor, it classifies innovational mode as knowledge mode, technological mode, industry mode and institution mode. As to the relationship of the conception of innovative city and city innovation,the fomer emphasizes the perfectness and validity of city innovational system, and the later emphasizes the regional innovational activities and process.
