The paper introduces the basic structure and working principle of the vertical impact crusher, analyses the approach to determine the basic parameters of the crusher such as the linear velocity of rotor, productivity, power of the motor, layer number of the disc and the hammerhead by theory and the test, which offers certain theoretical reference for designing the crusher.
