摘要
农民工是我国改革开放和工业化、城镇化进程中涌现的一支新型劳动大军。由于长期形成的城乡二元结构未从根本上改变,社会主义市场经济体制还不完善,农民工的生存状态令人忧虑,对构建社会主义和谐社会产生了十分不利的影响。必须按照构建和谐社会的要求,不断改善农民工的生存状态,为农民工提供平等的就业机会、国民待遇和发展平台。
Migrant rural workers are a new type of work force emerging from the process of China＇s reform and open-up, industrialization and urbanization. Due to the long standing dual framework of city and countryside and the deficiencies of the socialist economic system, the living condition of the farmer workers in China is far from satisfactory, which has already exerted adverse influence on the construction of a socialist harmonious society. Efforts should be made to improve their conditions, giving them equal employment opportunities, national treatment and developing platform.
