摘要
提出了一种通过模型测量预测前牙弓长度的方法。该方法根据前牙弓形所构成的拱形，推导出前牙弓弧长、宽度和长度的关系式及其关系值表，并通过正常牙列模型的实际测量证实了该方法的可靠性，从而为临床精确地判断错牙列正常排列时的实际前牙弓长度提供了有效的途径。该方法可广泛应用于牙列拥挤、间隙以及拔牙界限病例的诊断分析和矫治方案的确立。同时提供了供临床查用的前牙弓弧长、宽度和长度的关系值表。
A new method is introduced to predict the ideal intercanine arch length on the orthodontic cast.The method is proved to be useful and the prediction table may serve as a reference in the orthodontic clinic.
