摘要
PWM反馈技术在现代DC-DC芯片中得到了广泛的应用,在此基础上讨论了PWM模式峰值电流控制中的斜坡补偿的意义,并结合峰值电流模控制方式,提出一种分段线性斜坡补偿方法,详细的介绍了分段线性斜坡补偿电路的设计思想,并且给出了最终设计电路。该电路提供的补偿信号在不同的占空比区间具有不同的斜率。电路基于Hynix 0.5μm CMOSStandard Logic工艺设计,并经Hspice仿真验证达到设计目标。该斜坡补偿电路的优化设计避免了因过补偿而带来的系统瞬态响应慢和带载能力低等不良影响。
PWM feedback technology is widely used in modern DC-DC chip. The paper discusses the function of slope compensation in the peak current-mode control of PWM mode. Combining with the peak current-mode, a method of piecewise linear slope compensation for DC-DC converter is presented, which provides compensation signal that its slopes are different at different duty cycles. This paper introduces the spirit of the design and presents the factual circuit finally. This circuit is designed on the basis of Hynix 0. 5 μm CMOS Standard Logic process, and its performance has been verified by Hspice simulation. The optimization design of piecewise linear slope compensation circuit improves the output current capability and transient response of the system.
