摘要
佛教信仰及参与佛事活动是傣族人传统行为习惯构成的核心。德宏傣族将加入佛教组织并有资格按教规修行称为“入会”,入会是傣族佛教信徒皈依的一个明确标志。对个人皈依佛教,傣族有一种约定俗成的规定:入会是随心的,即什么时间入会是个人的意愿,但一般情况下,人们认为50多岁、60岁的人就应要求入会。傣族佛教皈依者大多数为渐进型皈依者,年龄、同伴团体的吸引及子辈的敦促、娱乐是影响傣族老年人皈依佛教的主要原因。客观地讲,皈依佛教对傣族老年人维护心理健康,积极应对死亡有着特殊的意义。
Buddhism and Buddhist activities are the core tradition of the Dai nationality. The Dais in Dehong regard the joining of a Buddhist organization with the qualifications for Buddhist activities as ＂ initiation＂, a clear symbol of conversion to Buddhism. The established tradition requires the conversion should be a personal wish and the Dai people at the age of 50 or 60 should apply for it. It is a gradual progress under the encouragement of the peers and the children. Entertainment is the main cause for the aged to convert themselves to Buddhism, which is helpful for their mental health and the coming of death.
