摘要
阐述了中等城市地域结构的特点及存在的主要问题，介绍了中等城市现代化城市交通系统应具备的条件及轻轨运输的概况，总结了适宜轻轨运输体系发展的条件。
It represents structure characteristics of medium city and its principal problems. Then it introduces the conditions that should be having in the traffic system of medium modem city and the general situation of light railway traffic. At last the conditions in order light railway traffic syste,n development are summed up.
