摘要
采用平板漏波导模型,对质子交换LiNbO3波导中的寻常光传输损耗特性进行了理论分析。在此基础上,首次研制出1.5μm质子交换LiNbO3光波导偏振器,其消光比和带尾纤插入损耗分别为42dB和4.3dB。
The propagation loss of ordinary light in the proton exchanged LiNbO3 waveguide was studied and analyzed theoretically with the model of the planar leaky waveguide. On the basis of this, a 1. 5μm optical waveguide POlarizer has been fabricated in LiNbO3 by proton exchange for the first time. Its polarizationextinction ratio and fibre-coupled insert loss of the polarizers are 42dB and 4. 3dB, respectively.
