SIEMENS lithostar, introduced in the 80＇s of last century, is an equipment used for the treatment of calculus in urology system. It transforms electric energy into shockwave by means of electromagnetism and crushes calculus by focusing the shockwave energy on it through an acoustic lens. The equipment is equipped with X - ray positioning system and two shockwave heads.
