摘要
作者从美学角度出发，在临床实践的基础上，根据患者的要求及其面部生理特征，对６例两颊凹陷或面部不对称的无牙患者，采用颊侧翼突美容修复体，进行美容全口义齿修复，取得了良好的修复效果。颊侧翼突全口义齿不仅使患者咀嚼功能，面部外观得到改善，而且使患者的心理得以恢复。
The edentulous patients with asymmetric facial contour or hollow cheeks are restored with a new type of buccal pterygoid - process - like prostheses according to the patients' requests and their facial characteristics. These esthetic complete denture prostheses render good results because they not only improve the patients' facial esthetic and masticatory function, but also make the patients' psychologically restored.
