摘要
根据国外医学课程设置调查、中国医学教学史研究与中国国内医学教学需求分析,国内医学院校开设医学术语教学课程有其必要性。相应的若干实行措施包括:医学术语学课程可成为一门预备医学而非一般外语教学课程;课程开设最佳时机应在本科生阶段;虽为必修课程,但课时与学分设置以不增加学生负担为宜;医学术语学教材应该由国家医学教育部门统一编写。此外,编写该教材的基本原则与实践方法也予以详细探讨。我国医学院校实施统一正规的医学术语学教学,将有益于我国医学教学与双语教学质量的进一步提高。
It is necessary to offer the medical terminology as a required course in medical education in our country based on investigation of the curriculum of medical schools abroad, China medical teaching history and the current requirements of medical education at home. Accordingly the concrete measures are suggested, i.e. , the medical terminology could be regarded as a pre-medicine course not linguistic subject; the best time for this course had better be in the undergraduate period; the teaching hours and credits should be properly designed for the students＇ acceptability; and the textbook of medical terminology should be written under the surveillance of the state department of medical education. In addition, the basic principles and practical methods of the textbook are discussed in detail. It is concluded that the excursion of medical terminology would be helpful to improving the quality of medical education and bilingual teaching.
