摘要
在我国高等教育规模进一步扩张的总体背景下,如何保障高校教育质量、提高其核心竞争力,日益成为学界及全社会关注的焦点。英国等发达国家高等教育发展的历史表明,评估是保障高等教育质量的重要手段。本文以英国高等教育科研评估为研究对象,对其发展历程、评估环节和影响等问题进行较为系统的分析、研究,并从中获得一定启示,以期对我国高等教育的发展及其评估体系的构建有所借鉴。
As our higher education makes for its further expansion on the scale, it has aalready become the focus of the public about what we should do to ensure its quality. The history of higher education in developed countries such as UK manifests： quality assessraent is a key measure to guarantee the quality of higher education. This essay explores the developing history, assessing process and influence of the Research Assessment Exercise in UK, intending to bring out some enlightenment to the development and the impovment of assessment system of our higher education.
