A Review and Performance Analysis of the Second Image Compression Technologies

摘要 在回顾图像压缩技术发展历程的基础上,对基于分形、基于小波和基于人工神经智能的3种第2代图像编码技术进行了分析比较,总结了它们的应用特点,并指出了它们的发展方向. On the basis of the compression technologies or algorithms reviewing, the paper analyzed and compared the performances of the second compression technologies these include fractal based, wavelet based and artificial neural network based. Then their application features has been summarized and their development directions has been pointed out.
