介绍了盘式刹车的优点，其制动力矩容量大，制动性能稳定，耐热衰退性能好，操作灵敏，维修调整方便，易于遥控和实现自动化操作，并适合系列化、专业化生产。分析了用盘式刹车取代带刹车所能获得的显著经济效益和社会效益。对在深井和越深井钻机上推广盘式刹车提出了若干建议。
The advantages of disc budes are introduced, including large capacity of brake moment, good heat resistance, sensitive operation, being convenient to repair and realize automatic operation and suitable for senated and specialized manufacturing. The economic and social benefits obtained by using disc brakes instead of belt brakes are analyzed. Suggestions on the application of disc brakes on deep and ultra-deep drilling rigs are put forward.
