摘要
测定罗望子胶的急性毒性,并选用3种体内和体外的短期测试系统,对其致突变进行试验。实验结果表明,罗望子胶对雌,雄性大鼠、小鼠经口 LD_(50)分别为9 260 mg/kg 和大于10 000mg/kg,属于实际无毒。在 Ames 试验中。未呈现致突变性。在体内试验中,未引起小鼠骨髓嗜多染红细胞微核率和小鼠精子畸变率的增加,在3项致变试验中,罗望子胶未呈现致突变活性。
Using three internal and external short-term system the oral acute toxicity and muta genicity for Tamarindus indica linn gum was measured in this study.The results showed that the medi- an lethal dose(LD_(50))was 9260 mg/kg to rats,more than 10000 mg/kg to mice,which indicated that Tamarindus indica linn gum is classified as a practical non-toxic substance.The mutagenic assay, including Ames test,micronucleus assay and the aberration rate of sperm in mice did not show any pos- itive results.
