A basic design scheme, development and physical analogue of GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) are described. Transmitter tuning output power and pulse width, receiver employing high sensitivity and wide band and data acquisition and imaging system with high speed, dynamic characteristic and high resolution technique are designed. Using physical analogue methods for common sight objects and practical probing in the field, exploration abilities of this system are verified. By verifying the performance of this system, the properties of GPR system are shown to be strong output power, great exploration ability, high resolution, better unity and high speed display.
