摘要
多分辨率图像编码是一种有发展前途的图像压缩编码方法.本文提出了一种经子波变换后多分辨率图像的编码方法,该编码方法利用了各子像特点.实践证明该方法适合于多分辨率的静止图像编码,具有编码计算量小,便于软硬件实现的优点.
The multiresolution nature of the discrete wavelet transform lends itself as an ideal tool for image coding and transporting. Still image coding using wavelet decomposition and variable encoding based on the special property of subimage is presented. The experiments have proved that this approach provides a practicable coding way.
