摘要
从翻译与文化的关系之视角对杨宪益夫妇和霍克斯的两种《红楼梦》英译本的部分译例进行对比分析,阐释原语与译语的文化差异、中西方思维模式差异,以及译者的文化取向等文化因素对翻译的影响。
The aim of this paper is, from the perspective of the relationship between translation and culture, to cite and analyze some examples in Yang Xianyi and Glady Yang＇ s Translation and David Hawke＇ s Translation of Hong Lou Meng by Can Xueqin, and to elucidate the great influence of cultural differences such as the difference between source language and target language, between eastern and western thinking modes and translators＇ different cultural orientations on translation.
