摘要
EEG代表了大脑神经元活动的一种电信号,它一直是研究人在不同睡眠阶段大脑活动的重要工具。本文在同际睡眠分期标准的基础上[1],利用Lempel-Ziv所定义的随机序列的“复杂性”对不同睡眠期的EEG时间序列进行了分析和研究。结果显示。随被试睡眠深度的增加,各道EEG的复杂度减少。而在REM(快动眼睡眠)期,EEG的复杂度又回升到接近清醒、闭眼休息时的程度。这个规律不受电极位置的影响。对结果的分析可以看到,复杂度能成为反映睡眠过程大脑活动的一个状态参数,对于EEG复杂性的研究可提供一些研究大脑高级认知活动的新思路。
EEG represents the electric activity of the neurons in human brain. It is used for studying the brain activity in different sleep stages. This paper analyzed the EEG time serials with the complexity of random serials defined by Lempel and Ziv in the different sleep stages, according to the international stall<lard of sleep stage. The conclusion shows that the deeper the sleep, the smaller the complexity of tile EGG. Nevertheless, in REM sleep the complexity of EEG nearly increases to the level of the wakeful stage (eye-closed and rest ) and this rule is independent of the position of the electrodes on the skull. We found;hat the complexity of tile EGG might be regarded as a feature representing the active states of human brain in sleep course. This perhaps provides a new path to the research on the advanced cognitive function of human brain.
