A intelligent instrument on measuring the multi-parameter of cast iron melt is introduced in this paper, which has been investigated for several years and successfully used in some factories.Its hard-ware is strong in antidisturbauce, therefore it is fit for working in the adverse circumstances in the foundry. The soft-ware using the unique data-analysis and distinguishing method, the instrument can identify the feature points from the thermal-analysis curves exactly and reliably. It Iso has the good function of man-machine interaction.
