摘要
康拉德的《黑暗的心》在英语文学史上有很高的地位。来自尼日利亚的阿切比却尖锐地批评了这部小说,其观点引起了巨大争议。透过阿切比的批评策略,可以追问他的批评作为后殖民批评文本的深刻政治意图,并从中得到一些启示。
Joseph Conrad＇s Heart of Darkness plays an important role in English literature. However it was sharply criticized by Nigerian critic Chinua Achebe whose ideas aroused a lot of controversy. By analyzing the critical strategy of Achebe, the deep political purpose of his criticism, which is a text of postcolonial criticism, can be revealed. We may also gain enlightenment from the analysis.
