In this paper, we summarized the study history, the types and the distribution of polyamines in fruits, the detecting method and the effects of polyamines on the elongation of pollens, fruits setting, the growth and development of the fruits, the development of roots , the senescence, and the absorbing and transferring. We also summarized the relationship of the polyamines with the juvenile phage, the stresses and the phytohormones.
