摘要
根据英国国家统计局的统计,2004年中英双边贸易仍然存在贸易逆差,并且还有进一步扩大的趋势,如何改变这一状况,使中英双边贸易朝着更加平衡健康的方向发展,这对中英双方经济的长期发展都是有利的。中英两国经济互补性强,双边经贸合作发展迅速,贸易规模不断扩大;中英双边贸易的合作有着巨大的潜力和广阔的前景。
In this paper the author analyses the China-UK bilateral trade development based on the trade statistics of the two countries from January to July 2004 provided by UK Government Statistics and China Customs. According to UK Government Statistics and China Customs there have been still trade deficits between the two countries and it will be large. So it is quite important for the two countries to handle the deficit problem in order to get a balanced and healthy bilateral trade relationship, which is very essential and beneficial for the two countries. Between the two countries there exists a strong economic cooperation. In recent years, the cooperation and trade between the two countries have quickly and greatly developed. The trade volume has become larger and larger. Even so, there still exist a great potential and a great future.
