A CMOS Limiting Amplifier and Received Signal Strength Indicator for Bluetooth Receiver

摘要 介绍一种分段线性对数放大器,它可以作为蓝牙接收通道的限幅放大器和功率指示计.电路用0.35μmCMOS工艺集成在单片蓝牙射频收发芯片中.测试结果显示,在40dB的输入动态范围下,功率指示计非线性误差仅为0.5dB. A piece-wise linear logarithmic amplifier is presented. It can be used as limiting amplifier and received-signal-strength indicator (RSSI) in Bluetooth receivers. The circuit, as a part of Bluetooth RF chip, is implemented with the 0.35μm CMOS technology. 5 dB with a dynamic range of 40 dB. Measurements show that RSSI linear error is less than 0.
