摘要
液晶结构、缺陷与织构是相互关联的内容.液晶结构对称性的破坏产生缺陷,液晶缺陷的集合形成织构.而织构观察反过来又是鉴定液晶结构的重要手段.液晶结构、缺陷与织构即是液晶研究十分有趣的课题,同时对于液晶工业人员也是重要的.这篇文章从液晶相分类,液晶结构,液晶相变等概念出发.应用拓扑分析,伏尔特拉过程,连续体弹性形变等理论,分析了向列相,胆甾相,近晶相(A、C和C*)液晶中,点、线和壁缺陷,包括向错,位错以及旋错,表面缺陷,向错环等的分类,拓扑性质,稳定性,能量,以及彼此间和与环境的相互作用,并且介绍了液晶织构的观察.
The structures, defects and textures are the associated topics in the liquid crystals.The discontinuity of the structural symmetry causes defects in liquid crystals. The integration of defects constructs textures of liquid crystals. Inversely, the texture observation is an essential mean in the determination of liquid crystal phase structures.The structures, defects and textures were addressed in this article which applied the topology, Volterra process and continuum elasticity of liquid crystals to analyze liquid crystal phases, structures, and defects classification, topological feature, stability, energy,interactions between themselves and with environments, as well as the texture observa tion. The point, line and wall defects in the nematic, cholesteric and smectic (such as smectic A. C and C* ) liquid crystal phases were respectively dealt with, including dislocations.disclinations and dispirations.
