Blue Phase Ⅲ of Liquid Crystals

摘要 蓝相Ⅲ(BPⅢ)是液晶中蓝相的一个子相。它是具有特殊性质的相态。它的结构和性质不同于BPⅠ和BPⅡ。近年来,BPⅢ的理论和实验研究有了很大的突破。在理论上BPⅢ的研究主要体现在其结构和相变上。不同的BPⅢ结构模型的建立,为它的结构的确定提供了很好的研究方法。BPⅢ-ISO相变为热力学相变。相变临界点的存在对BPⅢ的物理性质的研究有着重要的意义。实验上,通过各种手段(光的反射与选择性光散射、电场等)对液晶BPⅢ的结构研究证明和否定了理论上所主张的一些BPⅢ的结构模型,但是有些实验结果很难处理。目前,关于BPⅢ的结构之谜还不能被揭开。由BPⅢ理论和实验研究的简要论述,可以引发出BPⅢ结构研究的新的理论方法。BPⅢ的织构呈无规则形状,这就有可能在理论上从特定的模型出发建立起非线性方程,计算所得方程的结果可能存在混沌解。 The blue phase Ⅲ is one product phase of blue phase in the liquid crystals. Its structures and properties are different from those of BPⅠ and BPⅡ.In recent years,the theories and experiments of BPⅢ have made much progress. It mainly shows the structure and phase transition of research. It is very important for study of physical character of BPⅢ in the BPⅢ-ISO transition. It proves and rebuts some models of BPⅢ by experiments. It can induce a new method from the dissertation of BPⅢ. Due to the irregular structure of BPⅢ ,it may establish asuit of equation may be a confused solution.nonlinear equation from the special model. There
