摘要
以喻体形象为中心、以实际翻译为例阐述了英汉翻译中的移植喻体形象、寻求相应的喻体形象、将暗喻变为明喻、对所译比喻进行解释性说明、略去喻体形象和添加喻体形象等六种翻译方法。
Centering on the images, this essay expounds six methods of metaphor translation with specific examples： transferring metaphorical images, finding corresponding images, turning the metaphor into simile, transferring the images with explanations, decolorizing the images and adding images.
