摘要
爵是夏、商和西周时期重要的青铜礼器之一。爵柱的功能为何是许多青铜器研究者和鉴赏者经常提出的问题。本文根据对史前陶鬶的研究,认为爵、斝皆源于陶鬶,青铜爵的柱是其祖形——“原始管流陶鬶”的流根处的“鸡冠形装饰”的演化,代表了“鸟冠”的意义。
Jue tripod is one of the important bronze ritual vessels of the Xia, Shang and Western Zhou periods. The function of the two erect stems on the rim of the jue tripod is still a problem to many researchers as well as to connoisseurs. Based on studies on prehistoric ceramic gui tripods,this paper argues that jue andfia tripods might all come from ceramic gui tripod. The stems of the bronze jue tripod may have evolved from the crest - like decoration on the rim of the spout of the gui tripod,which may represent the crest of a bird.
