崔恺作为全国高等院校建筑专业指导委员会委员，每年都会抽几天时间参加专业指导委员会议和参与全国高校大学生作品评选；并且在清华和北京建工学院担任教育评估督导员；同时在院里进行选拔毕业生的工作。作为有着丰富职业实践经验和理论修养的建筑大师，能够持续的接触和感受建筑教育，使他保持了对整个建筑教育体系的一个客观而清晰的认识。
