摘要
研究了MB3镁合金与1060铝合金的搅拌摩擦焊连接,结果表明,用搅拌摩擦焊接方法可以实现这两种合金的连接,并可得到外观形貌良好的接头;镁合金在搅拌过程中呈层状嵌入到铝合金基体中,这种层状结构中出现的微小空洞靠近镁合金的一侧,同时在连接界面还发现了狭长的中间层;接头附近存在的脆性金属间层状物导致接头力学性能显著下降。
The investigation was carded out on the feasibility of using friction stir welding to join magnesium alloy MB3 to aluminum alloy 1060. The results show that visually sound welds can be produced. Magnesium alloy imbed in the base body of aluminum alloy in the course of welding, the cavity often appears close to on one side of magnesium alloy in this kind of form structure, the narrow and long intermetallic layer was also found at the same time. However, the formation of a thin, crisp intermetallic layer at the interface results in poor property of welds which exhibit virtually no ductility and lower tensile strength.
