摘要
听力理解是英语学习中的一项重要技能。然而,研究表明,传统的大学公共英语教学却造成当前大学生的英语听力水平普遍不高。本文剖析了传统的大学英语教学对大学生听力技能的负面影响,介绍了影响听力教学的新理论,并从教学内容和教学模式两方面探讨了提高大学生英语听力技能的对策。
Listening comprehension is one of the basic skills in English learning. It is reported, however, that due to the traditional college English teaching, college non-Enghsh majors' overall skill of English listening comprehension is far from satisfactory. The author analyzes the unfavorable effects of traditional college English teaching, introduces the current theories which have impact on the teaching of English listening comprehension, and in terms of teaching content and teaching model, puts forward some measures to improve college non-English majors' skill of English listening comprehension.
