摘要
乳液型纸张增强剂具有增强效果好,防水性能优越,可显著提高纸张的抗张指数、耐折度、耐破度等特点,就乳液型增强剂合成中常用的乙烯基单体比例、合成工艺条件等因素对纸张增强效果间的关系进行深入探讨,结果发现,醋酸乙烯酯(VAc)、丙烯酸丁酯(BA)、苯乙烯(St)、二甲基二烯丙基氯化铵(DADMAC)在增强剂合成中均有一最佳范围,并采用预乳化滴加工艺得到的乳液对纸张的增强效果较好。
A cationic copolymer emulsion was prepared from styrene (St), vinyl acetate (VAc), butyl acrylate (BA), diallyldimethyl ammonium chloride (DADMAC) and acrylamide (AM) by means of emulsion polymerization. The effects of the monomer ratios in polymerization on its performance as a paper strength agent were studied. It has been found that the dosage of every monomer in the emulsion polymerization showed a significant impact on its perfornance. Every monomer has an optical dosage, at which the obtained emulsion shows better performance than that obtained at other dosages. Furthermore, the emulsion prepared via pre-emulsification process and dropwise addtion method is a better enhancer for paper strength.
