摘要
利用Jones矩阵建立了高扭曲液晶显示器的理论模型,推导出了高扭曲向列液晶显示器的透过率表达式;对于常用扭曲角为120°的高扭曲向列液晶显示器,研究了其常白模式和常黑模式下的透过率特性,计算了Δn.d的第一、二极小值,结果表明液晶盒厚度d的计算值满足实际工业生产的要求,本研究对于液晶显示器的设计和优化具有一定的参考意义。
Jones matrix is used to set up the theoretical model of liquid crystal display and the expression of light transmission rate of high twisted nematic liquid crystal display is worked out in this paper. Takng the 120° twisted HTN-LCD for example, the transmissions about white mode and black mode are studied by theoretical calculation. According to the standard of craft parameters, the best thickness of liquid crystal cell is calculated from the second minimum of optical distant difference. Studies show that the theoretical thickness d of liquid crystal cell can satisfy the demands of industrial production; the exactness of this theory have been proved. The research in the working pattern of liquid crystal display is of some instructional significance for the design and optimization of liquid crystal display.
