摘要
自钱江博士将英国牛津大学鲍德林图书馆馆藏之我国明代航海图介绍到国内后,使我们得以从渊源和形态上对这幅航海图有了初步的了解。但该图没有图名和制作时间,通过与其它现存明代航海图进行比较后,可将这幅航海图命名为《东西洋航海图》。对于它的制作年代,从航海图航线绘制方式的历史演变及台湾岛北港、加里林地名注记的破解,试图得出这幅《东西洋航海图》的成图时间应为明万历年间,即1566～1602年间的结论。
Ever since Dr.Qian Jiang introduced the nautical chart of the Ming Dynasty from the Bodleian Library's collections at Oxford University,we gained a preliminary understanding of this chart's origin and drawing techniques.However,the chart has no name and exact compilation time.While comparing with other nautical charts of the Ming Dynasty,the author suggests that this chart should be named as 'The Nautical Chart of the Eastern and Western Oceans'.By examining drawing methods and naming of Taiwan,I conclude that the chart should be completed during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty,i.e.,1566～1602.
