摘要
近代早期是一个海上称雄的世界,葡萄牙和西班牙率先走上了向海外殖民扩张的道路。1571年西班牙人占领了马尼拉,进而将其打造成为东方殖民地的大本营,马尼拉不仅因此成为全球城市网络中具有重要意义的节点,也是西方城市在东方的变体和缩影。通过对西属马尼拉的研究,可以更好地了解西方城市是如何影响东方并受到东方反作用的。本文主要立足于中国学者发表的研究成果,以专题形式扼要回顾2010年以来海洋史视野下西属马尼拉研究的最新进展,并就未来发展提出一些期许。
To seek maritime hegemony,Portugal and Spain took the lead in overseas colonial expansion.In 1571,the Spanish occupied Manila and made it a colonial base in the East.Hence Manila became a significant center in the network of global cities,as well as a variant and microcosm of European cities.The study of Spanish Manila showcases the reciprocal influences between Eastern culture and Western cities.Based on the researches of Chinese scholars,this article reviews the study of Spanish Manila from the perspective of maritime history since 2010,and expresses the author’s expectations for future study.
