Abstract The application of the Rocket lmmunoelect Immunoelectrophoresis(RIE) for defection of infectious hoursal disease Virus antigens of 39 specimens in Handan and Xingtai area was investigated. The RI-E was demonstrated to be considerably more sensitive(39/39) than the agar--gel precipiting test (24/39 ).Therefore, the RIE was found to be a simple f quick I spl'Llfict reproducible, and sensitive method for rapid diagnosis of IBD.
