Determination of high-content Silicon in SiAeFe alloys by differential spectrophotometry isdiarribed. In HNO_3 medium (pH1~2), Si (Ⅳ) reacts with (NH_4)_2MoO_4 to form H_4[Si(Mo_3O_(10))_4]. Then it is reduced to molybdenum Blue by Fe (Ⅱ), the product being determined in therange of 7-l2% Silicon with 6% reference solution, 12-20% Silicon with 10%. It is showedthat this method had the advantage of simplicity, accuracy and being able to get satisfactory resultsin comparison with data of abtained by other authors.
