角膜上皮层,由深层的基底细胞、中层的翼状细胞和表层的鳞状细胞构成。表层表面的微绒毛吸附泪液,使成泪膜。深层的后面为其基底膜,位于角膜的前弹力膜上。角膜上皮层是微生物侵犯的天然屏障,一旦破坏,易于感染,外伤易使脱落。某些角膜病,如树枝状角膜炎、神经麻痹性角膜炎。
In order to evaluate the effects of several kinds of eyedrops or contact lens wearing on the corneal epithelial healing rate, the model was made with the rabbit corneal epithelial scraped by a blade in the same diameter of 8mm. The results showed that 0.5% Dexamethasone, autoserum and 871-eyedrop have the effect of promoting the epithelial healing rate, that 25000 u/ml Vitamin A has little or no effect, and that contact lens wearing even delays the epithelial healing rate. Meanwhile, we observed that the remained epithelia around the wound migrate centrally. The initial 6 hours after the scraping is the latant period. The damaged but living cells around the wounded area differentiated into active cells, then comes the healing period. The active cells move in constant speed toward the central area.
