图像反转视觉诱发电位(以下简称P-VEP)和闪光视觉诱发电位(以下简称F-VEP)是视觉诱发电位(以下简称VEP)的两种基本形式。由于它们所采用的刺激方式不同。
The investigation was made as for the relationship of P-VEP and F-VEP based on the data from 144 normal eyes. There was no significant relationship between the latencies of P-VEP and F-VEP, and between the latencies of P-VEP and the amplitudes of F-VEP. It was disclosed that many parameters between the amplitudes of P-V EP and the latencies and amplitudes of F-VEP had significant relationship. The authors considered that the major explanation of the phenomenon observed was that the P-VEP and F-VEP mainly excited the different retinal ganglion cells(either X-cells or Y-cells). It was also noted that much more luminance specific components was existed in P-VEP recording when the visual angle of the checkerboard was greater than 30. Further investigation into more detailed relationship of P-VEP and F-VEP will be required.
