Agglutinins have been extracted from the seeds of zea mays L, Phaseolus valgaris L and dolichos lablab L. The functions of these agglutinins for promoting lymphocyte transformation are analysed. The results obtained are very important to select high quality materials and to extract agglutinins from gramineae seeds and leguminosae seeds production in Shaanxi province.
