摘要
作者自1983年至1993年共手术治疗丘脑基底节肿瘤46例。其中,姑息性手术2例,活检12例,常规开颅切除肿瘤20例,立体定向手术切除12例,术后症状改善25例,无变化12例,恶化8例,死亡1例。主张无颅高压的丘脑基底节肿瘤首选定向活检与放射治疗;有颅高压者须切除肿瘤,其中立体定向手术切除肿瘤术后患者有较高的生存质量。
Forty-six patients with tumors of the thalamus and basal ganglia were treated surgically in Huashan Hospital between 1983 and 1993- Two patents underwent palliative operation, 12 underwent biopsy,20 underwent conventional craniotomy with excision of tumors,and 12 underwent CT-guided CO laser microsurgery. Neurological function improved in 25 cases and unchanged in 12.There was one operative death (mortality 2.1%) . The authors recommend stereotactic biopsy followed by radiation for those who have no intracranial hypertension as the treatment of choice. Removal of tumors should be carried out if the patient has intracranial hypertension. The patients treated by CT-guided stereotactic laser microsurgery may get better quality of life postoperatively.
