EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON DISINFECTION EFFECT OF OZONE

摘要 早在1886年,就有人试图将臭氧作为一种杀菌剂应用。由于奥氧发生装置的限制,几十年来。多只用于水的消毒处理。近年来,由于臭氧发生器的改进。可以在常温常压下廉价生产较高浓度的臭氧。 The disinfection efficacy of ozone was studied in laboratory. The results showed that ozone at concentration of 0.21~0.92 mg/m^3 with a 30 min contact time (14~16℃, relative humidity 72~82%)could kill over 90% of Staphylococcus aurcus and Escherichia coli in air, while 90 min contact (16℃, relative humidity 98%)was required for killing over 90% of Bacillus subtilis var. niger. Ozone could also inactivate bacteria, HBsAg and HAAg on surfaces of various articles to a certain degree. The germicidal effect of ozone could be influenced by organic matters and the nature of the article to be disinfected. It was also indicated in experiment that ozone was harmful to rubber and copper articles and caused decolorization of fabrics.
