摘要
第一语言在外语课堂上对外语学习者有无作用?这是外语教师关心的问题。本文论述了汉英对比在外语课上的积极作用,就两种语言差别较大而致学生容易犯错的方面进行了对比总结,并提出了教学中可行的应用方法。
Whether the mother tongue( L1) is useful or not to foreign language learners in their classroom studying is an issue of foreign language teachers' common concern.The present article 'The Function and Application of Contrasting Chinese with English in the Classroom Teaching of College English' discusses the positive role played by contrasting Chinese with English in the classroom teaching of a foreign language,summarizes some major differences between English and Chinese which are harder for Chinese students to master,and puts forward a few workable methods used in college English teaching.
