摘要
目的探讨上皮型钙黏素和β-连环蛋白在胃癌分化、浸润和转移中的作用。方法用免疫组织化学方法检测胃癌组织及其配对的转移淋巴结肿瘤组织中上皮型钙黏素和β-连环蛋白的表达,并分析两种蛋白间的相互关系。结果50例胃癌中,肠型胃癌的上皮型钙黏素或β-连环蛋白的表达均高于弥漫型胃癌(P=0.0077,P=0.016);上皮型钙黏素蛋白阳性表达与β-连环蛋白阳性表达之间呈正相关(r=0.4766,P=0.0005);12例胃癌原发灶和其配对的淋巴结转移灶之间,上皮型钙黏素和β-连环蛋白的阳性表达之间均无显著差异(P>0.05)。结论上皮型钙黏素和β-连环蛋白的联合表达有利于细胞分化和细胞—细胞间的黏附,对癌细胞的弥散具有抑制作用。
ObjectiveTo analyze the expression of E-cadherin and β-catenin in the tissues of gastric carcinoma and its lymphatic metastasis, and to explore their relationship, role in tumoral differentiation, invasion and metastasis.MethodsThe expressions of E-cadherin and β-catenin were detected by immunohistochemistry (IHC).(Results)In 50 cases of gastric carcinoma, significant differences were found in the expressions of E-cadherin or β-catenin between the intestinal-type and the diffuse-type(P=0.0077, P=0.016). The expressions of E-cadherin and β-catenin in gastric carcinoma were higher in thr intestinal-type than in the diffuse-type(r=0.4766, P=(0.0005)).Concerning the primary foci of gastric carcinoma and their matching metastatic foci of the lymphnode, there was no significant difference between the positive expression of E-cadherin and that of β-catenin in 12 cases((P>0.05).)(Conclusion)The co-expression of E-cadherin and β-catenin may play a role in tumor cellular differentiation, cell-cell adhesion, and in inhibiting tumor invasion.
