摘要
高等学校定位包含高校在某一教育系统中的定位,与同类学校相比较中的发展目标定位,还包括人才培养目标的定位。中国西部地区高校存在着对定位不重视,定位不准确,缺乏个性和特色,盲目攀比,不切实际的问题。西部经济社会发展状况、政府权力、市场需求、学科特色等都是制约学校定位的因素。准确定位,要把握好办学类型、办学水平和办学特色等问题。
The orientation of higher institutes consists of the orientation in a certain educational system, the orientation of their developmental aims compared with the same level institutes as well as the orientation of their educational aims for their personnel. Problems in higher institutes in western areas apparently derive from their less attention and lacking of precision. Generally speaking, several factors in the western areas of China, such as social econimy, financial capability of government, market demands and subject characteristics all tend to restrict the orientation of higher institutes. So it is crucial to make a better and more accurate orientation, to define particular educational aims and to promote their educational quality.
